Come and experience what it's like to work at Royal SMIT on January 15!

Have you always wanted to discover how we proudly build the largest and most complex transformers in Nijmegen? On January 15 we invite you to experience this for yourself during our program 'SMITTER for a day'. This is your unique chance to join us on our shop floor and take a look behind the scenes.

At Royal SMIT everything revolves around craftsmanship and cooperation. During this day we will show you what it means to be a SMITTER - without any job interview or obligations. Transformers are impressive machines, and nowhere else will you learn how to build them. Only with us do you get that opportunity.

This day is especially for anyone with technical ambition who not only wants to get to know our work, but also wants to experience how our cozy, informal working atmosphere makes us so unique.

Will you join us? January 15 can be your first step to discover what it's like to work at Royal SMIT!

What can you expect from this day?

 

During SMITTER for a Day:

  • Meet different departments and colleagues.
  • Take a look at our production process.
  • Experience our unique work culture full of energy and cooperation.
  • Work on a transformer yourself.

Of course we provide a delicious meal and a nice souvenir, so you go home with a well-filled belly and a special experience.

 

Program:

On Wednesday, January 15, we will organize another co-working day:

15:00 - 15:30: Reception and introduction
15:30 - 16:00: Tour of the departments
16:00 - 19:30: Work along, including a break with dinner
19:30 - 19:45: Closure

  • You are interested in a possible future at Royal SMIT and would like to meet with no obligation.
  • You take the time to spend a day with us.
  • Sign up in advance so we can welcome you and reserve your place in the program.

 

What can you expect from us?

After you sign up, we will call you within three business days to meet and go over the program. One week before the day you will receive the final program by email.

On the day itself we will welcome you at Royal SMIT and show you what it is like to work with us. After your visit we will discuss your impressions together and see if you would like to join one of our departments.
