What will you be doing?
As an Assembly Technician at Royal SMIT in Nijmegen, you will use your talents every day to shape the craftsmanship of tomorrow. You will have the opportunity to work in two departments: pre-assembly or the shipping hall.
In pre-assembly, you will work with your team to assemble tank parts and transformer covers. The conservator, cooler frames, and pipes are also assembled here. Once the transformer is ready, it undergoes extensive testing and is sent to the disassembly department. Then it's your turn as a mechanic in the shipping hall. You will check that all parts are present and that the quality is correct. If something is not right, you will not hesitate to carry out repairs. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the transformer is ready for transport. We have a day schedule in the pre-assembly department, while the shipping hall works with a two-shift schedule.
What do you bring to the table?
You have an MBO diploma and experience as an assembly mechanic or in a similar role.
What do you get?
A salary between €2,875 and €3,670 gross per month, excluding shift allowance.
27 vacation days and 13 ADV days, with the option to exchange ADV days for extra salary.
PME pension plan.
Travel allowance.
Work clothing, PPE, and tools.
Collective bonus plan.
Tax benefits via FiscFree.
Take advantage of our bicycle incentive program (Trappers) and earn rewards by using your bicycle more often.
